As a christmas present to myself, i bought a couple of special pottery kits. One of them was a candle making kit.
Christmas linocut
Once again I decided to make linocut christmas cards. Not as happy with the results this year.
Halloween pottery
This year I decided not to carve a pumpkin but to try some halloween pottery instead.
Trying out textures
With all my wobbly pots so far, I've gone for smooth finishes to paint on. This time I tried out some texture on the surface.
Experimenting with patterns
I haven't been very thoughtful about the decoration on my wobbly pots so I thought I'd spend a little more time planning that on my next one.
Spring linocut
Spring has sprung. I tired some spring inspired linocutting.
Being a bit more delicate
My first wobbly pots have been quite clunky, the second one was definitely too heavy. I decided to try something a little more delicate.
Wobbly pots – the beginning
In March 2021, I was seduced by an advert on social media and ordered my first home pottery kit. Since then I've enjoyed the therapy that is making wobbly pots.
A bit of sketching
During January I tried a bit of sketching...not something I do a lot of but it was enjoyable and I managed some reasonable work.
Christmas linocut
It was a lockdown christmas so I thought I'd make some linocut christmas cards.
