Today we had an act of puppy destruction. I had, probably somewhat foolishly, bought a jute basket to put Bonnie’s toys in. She obviously had other ideas about what it was for.
Ok, lesson learned.
However, we actually haven’t had that many incidents of puppy destruction. We’ve had some trouble with the nibbling of a particular piece of skirting board. After her teeth came in, it stopped.
One of the most annoying was probably the nibbling of the back cover…and the last few pages of a book that I was reading.
I thought I was going to have to buy another copy just to be able to finish it but I actually managed without that.
She also totally loves a tissue or any other large piece of paper. This was some packaging from something we’d had delivered so nothing we cared deeply about. I think we’ve escaped relatively unscathed but I could imagine she might turn to destruction if bored. Will we always have to have someone in the house?!
