Art in the garden

So, even though it’s the end of summer, we’re getting a bit of a last minute heatwave. Today was a gorgeous sunny day so I spent the afternoon in the garden doing a few more Alhambra patterns.

This one is from the Tower of the Two Sisters. I’ve kept to the original colour scheme…pretty much. I’m really pleased with this one. I’m not very neat but I don’t think it really matters.

The next one is from the Hall of the Kings. I went off piste with the colours here. Not sure if I like it or not…it might grow on me.

Although I started in the garden, I had to come inside to finish off as it was getting dark. Even though we’ve got midsummer weather, we don’t have the long days any more.
