A 70’s vibe

Another pattern from the “24 patterns for drawing the Alhambra” book. Details of the book are in a previous post. This one is a mural called the “Bath of Comares”. The original is formed by red lines on a light background and isn’t coloured. I chose to block in the lines and in choosing the brown and yellow I’ve managed to create something with a real 1970’s feel.

I managed to resist temptation…I was going to colour the stars gold but in the end I think they’re much better left white.

Pretty pleased with this one.
