These early works are kind of bizarre as they don’t fit with what comes next…other than the fact they’re of nature. They’re almost like Constables.
We’re soon far away from that early stuff!
Just love these stylised still lives.
This mid section of the exhibition was my favourite part. Bold, simple stuff. Just fabulous.
