With all my wobbly pots so far, I’ve gone for smooth finishes to paint on. This time I tried out some texture on the surface. I’ve also bought some new pastel shades of paint to try out.

Once again, I didn’t get the build of the pot right and it sagged….too top heavy. I also didn’t leave it long enough before trying to make the indentations. It needed longer than I thought to become “leather hard”. This meant I distorted the pot while trying to make the indentations. Anyway, I persevered, painted it in some pastel colours and got some dried flowers to put in it.
A bit of a learning experience this one. Not one of my favourites.
