It was a lockdown christmas so I thought I’d make some linocut christmas cards. I’m not a huge fan of christmas cards however this year they seem to have gained a special significance. Something homemade seems appropriate.

I chose a reindeer as my design and I think it worked out pretty well.

Funnily enough, my daughter also did some carving and printing at school. This was done on a polysterene block and I really like the effect it creates
And finally
I caught Edinburgh’s Hogmanay on the internet and was blown away by it. A spectacular show of drones over various parts of Scotland, the fabulous words were written by Scots makar, Jackie Kay. I particularly liked the words….”this scunnered year”, so I did a linocut…obviously.
